Happy Friday Yall!!! Ok so my diet was decent I guess.... I was good until I went to my sons school picnic which was held inside due to rain. I LOVE THE RAIN! Kids still had a blast. Here is what I ate:
- oatmeal with flaxmeal and walnuts, 1 cup almond milk
- stawberry protein smoothie
- grilled chicken sandwich served on ww english muffin
- pnut butter shakeology
AND NOW FOR THE BAD PART....
- 2 chicken wings (hey I didn't eat the skin), I picked at some rice that had carrots in it, but it was WHITE rice. gasp! Haven't had that in months! Oh yea, I had a tamale! I don't regret that because I love authentic mexican food and I don't get to eat tamales often. And it was only 1. I was surprised that I controlled myself that much.
I felt bad, but my kids eat pretty good during the week. Except my daughter, we are working with her 2 year old appetite. My boys are pretty good though. So I did slip but I'm not beating myself up. I want my kids to eat healthy, but I don't want them to grow up and resent me for not being a "normal" kid at their school picnic. Funny thing tho, They picked at their food too.
